Questions and Answers
Q: How much clearance do you need to get your tractor into my yard?
A: With our mowers on we need about 9 feet of space side to side and 12 feet of overhead clearance.
Q: Where is your service area?
A: We are based out of Boise and at this time we are judging it on a call by call basis. Generally speaking, we serve Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Caldwell, Middleton, and Kuna. That said, we have done many jobs outside that area as well. It all depends on the exact location, the size and type of the job, etc. Contact us and we will do what we can.
Q: How much are your prices?
A: Our prices vary depending on many different factors including the condition of your land, the work you want performed, the size and location of the lot, etc. Visit our Contact page for a free bid.
Q: I have received a notice from Code Enforcement saying I need to get my weeds taken care of immediately. Can you get it done in time?
A: Well, of course that depends on when the notice was written, whether that was the first notice received, etc. That said, we will do our best to prioritize your job and get it done in time. In our experience the Code Enforcement officers are generally pretty flexible, so long as you are cooperative and keep in communication with them.
Q: How short can you cut my weeds with your mowers?
A: That depends somewhat on the conditions of your property. For example, a lot that has many large rocks or other obstacles will require us to lift the mower higher. Under ideal conditions our mowers will cut the weeds to about 4 inches tall. City Code generally requires weeds to be cut no longer than 6 inches tall.
Q: The notice I have received says that my weeds not only need to be cut, but also REMOVED. Is that a service you can provide?
A: Our mowers chop up the weeds into a pretty fine mulch and leave them on the field to dry out. We have never before received a complaint from anyone saying that the job we did was not sufficient for Code Enforcement. We could pick up the remains of the weeds and haul them off, but between the labor and dump costs it would easily triple the price, and as far as we can tell it is not strictly required.
